  • I’ve enjoyed working with couples to create a variety of beautiful custom wedding designs. Weddings are one of the few times that most people have the opportunity to commission hand-crafted, individually tailored designs to express their personal style. Some folks come to me with a fairly specific idea of what they want, or a handful of visual references, while others have just said “we love your style, make something special for us!” Either way, it’s always a pleasure to create something personal for such an exciting event.
  • Katie and Matthew’s wedding stationery: hand-silkscreened, coordinated designs for invitation, reply card, and reception card. Katie loved one of my greeting card designs and asked me to modify it for her wedding designs.
  • Amy and George's wedding invitation:  I created a custom wedding invitation design using motifs interpreted from the couple’s beloved antique Russian tea set.
  • Julie & Rebecca’s invitations: these two wonderful ladies commissioned me to create handmade linocut designs featuring two chicks and a tree in autumn colors for their November ceremony. Hand-printed on a Chandler & Price letterpress, on Crane’s rich cream-colored 110lb. Lettra Paper.
  • Julie and Rebecca’s Ketubah: Julie and Rebecca also commissioned me to make a hand-painted Ketubah (that's the traditional Jewish wedding document) for their ceremony. I designed a leafy border, to create a visual connection with the invitation design, and used watercolor inks to paint the viney border, and felt-tip pens to make the hand-drawn italic text.

  • Shelley and John’s wedding invitation: Shelley and John were looking for a classic, nautical style for their invitations to a summer wedding set on the Maine coast. They brought me this fantastic idea: a three-fold, double-sided piece that combines invitation and RSVP card, looks beautiful and conserves paper. The RSVP postcard is perforated so it can be torn away to mail back. I designed a custom map, inspired by the old nautical charts they used to line their envelopes. The invitation was letterpress-printed on Crane’s pearl white 110 lb. Lettra paper.
